What is the best way to maintain my manicure at home?
The best way to maintain your manicure at home is by keeping everything hydrated and not using your nails as tools! Using a cuticle oil and a hand lotion daily will help keep your nails strong and your skin soft!
Can foot massages help with sore feet and tension?
Yes, a foot massage can help with sore feet and tension because they’re probably sore because of tension building up in your feet, and whilst we do a foot massage we are finding the tension which is lactic acid build up and as we massage over the tension we are breaking it down into smaller bits of tension which will help reduce the soreness of your feet.
What is the difference between a basic manicure and a gel manicure?
The difference between a basic manicure and gel manicure is a gel manicure is a different polish which will be cured underneath a UV lamp. This will mean your nails will be cured (dried) instantly. Gel manicures will last longer, are more durable and stronger.
For gel manicures you will need to have the polish removed properly to avoid weakening your nails. If they are removed properly, you shouldn’t see any weakened or dried out nails.
Gel manicure should last you between 2-4 weeks depending on how you look after your hands/nails.
A basic manicure is using normal polish/lacquer, which will take longer to dry, and may not last as long however, is good if you only want temporary polish on your nails as it is very quick and easy to take off.
